Hello all… I just wanted to check in with an update & accounting of LOMG’s first quarter of 2025. Overall things are going well and NO Cancellations of any events. We made it through all the freezing weather without any plumbing problems and the past few weeks have seen a flurry of activity.
Where the money has been spent:
- The kitchen exhaust fan motor was replaced (had to hire a pro)
- Both sinks in the kitchen received updated faucets (in house)
- Bill Johns has improved the internet throughout the entire campus (in house)
- Multi Outlets have been added to all off the bunks (in house)
- Cabin 5 AC/heater was replaced (in house)
- We replaced a water heater in the westside bathhouse (in house)
Donations and updates:
- Last call for bricks in underway (to be installed by this summer): Engraved Honoring Bricks – LAND OF MY GRANDFATHERS
- After 9 long years Martin Sunday has retired from the board and replaced with Bruce Martin
- A beautiful new sidewalk running from the deck to the brick plaza was donated
- Les Sturm has donated a new audio cabinet in the dining hall
