We are deeply saddened to share about the passing

We are deeply saddened to share about the passing of our beloved mascot, 85.

As a valued member of our Land Of My Grandfathers family, 85 was deeply loved and will be missed by all. His passing was unexpected and our heartache is more than words can express. 85 joined the LOMG family in 2014 and has been an invaluable constant for all who visited. He lived a life filled with devotion to his jobs of protecting LOMG, freely sharing his unconditional love and being in service to others.

The Land Of My Grandfathers Retreat Center was greatly enriched by 85’s presence. His departure leaves an unfillable void in our community. We hope that everyone who had the pleasure of 85’s company will find comfort in the memories and everlasting love we shared. As we grapple with the loss of his physical presence, we can find solace in knowing that his spirit lives on in the love of the property we all hold so dear.

We will continue to share details of a memorial service in his honor as arrangements are made.

In remembrance of 85, a tribute fund titled, “85 Is A King” has been created.
